Cod Liver Oil

Hi Tom,

Is there a need to take C.L.O. if you eat oily fish?
How much oily fish do you suggest taking? / would one need to take?

If you eat oily fish a few times a week there is no need to take a teaspoon of cod liver oil every day. But I hope you are careful about the fish you choose to eat. You certainly don't want fish that are contaminated by mercury. This toxin is harmful to the body and the hair. Do some research on this topic. I stay away from most fish even though this was once one of the most nutritious and tasty of foods.

The foods rich in protein that I eat are lean meat, organic eggs, and plain low fat yogurt with both live and active cultures. I don't think you want to overdo it with protein though unless you're a bodybuilder or a power lifter. Too much protein in your diet might not be such a good thing. Do some research on this.
