If you eat oily fish a few times a week there is no need to take a teaspoon of cod liver oil every day. But I hope you are careful about the fish you choose to eat. I stay away from most fish even though this was once one of the most nutritious and tasty of foods.
The foods rich in protein that I eat are lean meat, organic eggs, and plain low fat yogurt with both live and active cultures. I don't think you want to overdo it with protein though unless you're a bodybuilder or a power lifter. Too much protein in your diet might not be such a good thing. Do some research on this.
