Foam rollers

Post by TexasMedicine »

Here's a crazy alternative idea that I've just randomly thought about. Everyone knows about foam rollers, right? The big cylinder of foam that you use to massage your muscles to aid in muscle recovery.

Would rolling the scalp over these harm or benefit blood circulation and aid in recovering these muscles?

The foam rollers are used to get rid of muscle knots in people who work out hard like runners. Your own body is used to generate direct pressure in the affected area. I don't think the scalp exercise is vigorous enough to knot up the muscles though. I don't think you need a foam roller if you're doing the scalp exercise correctly.

Rolling the scalp certainly wouldn't hurt and it might actually benefit blood circulation - a neat idea. Thanks
