TE or MPB

Hi i just turned 25 this feb , for the past 2 months i have been suffering from hair loss,its started slowly but now i am afraid to even take a shower,i find hair in my bed and shower all the time,,i have long and straight hair which is always thin but very strong,my father has some MPB characteristic but he is 58 still have hair all over head only reduction near temple.my mothers family have no MPB history at all.In my case i am loosing hair all over my head i can just grab hair from anywhere of my head an it will come off..but the most effected area is temple ..got 2 small bald patchs near sides..after seen this i started using minoxidil 5% which is working as i can see some growth after 2 and half weeks.but the spot is not covered ...and my shredding problem havnt gone.it has slowed down but still havnt stopped i loose hair everyday in shower most of the time...and the density of my hair overall is very less everywhere.i jst wonder is this MPB or TE ? how long does TE last? Should i start taking popecia ?
