Gut Microbiota

When different countries adopt the standard western diet there could be an observed increase in the appearance of male pattern baldness in the population. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pattern_hair_loss#Metabolic_syndrome A number of studies have found a link between androgenic alopecia and metaboli...

Re: High Blood Pressure and Baldness

What do you think about this complete elimination of dairy and meat from the diet? Dairy has the protein casein which is reported to be carcinogenic and dairy also has casomorphins. Some articles report that cheese can be addictive ... http://www.onegreenplanet.org/natural-health/casein-dai...

Re: High Blood Pressure and Baldness

I do not know if it can help to regrow hair but eating a whole foods plant based diet helped to lower my blood pressure and I was able to get off the blood pressure medication. Today my blood pressure is 115/75 and I feel much better. I think exercises like waking must have also helped :D

Re: Sweating and Balding

But why bring this up? Are you saying that sweat glands enlarge, evicting hair follicles from their homes, causing hair loss? Fur covering an animal is like us when we wear clothes on a hot day with high temperatures. Sweat cools the body because it evaporates. Now imagine soaking a sweater in a tu...

Sweating and Balding

Perhaps on a bald scalp the sweat glands become enlarged as the hair follicles become miniaturized. More research is required to investigate this idea. Humans are naked apes that have less body hair than the other mammals that are covered with fur. Early humans did a lot of persistence hunting, trac...

Re: Occipitofrontalis muscle and the Vagus Nerve

From my perspective, it doesn't matter. What I notice in myself and others who do the scalp exercise correctly is that there are no hooded upper eyelids. This is significant. Puffiness in the upper eyelid area makes a person look older. If the scalp exercise can maximize hair growth and minimize ho...

Re: Occipitofrontalis muscle and the Vagus Nerve

http://www.healthguidance.org/entry/12041/1/Vagus-Nerve-Disorders.html The vagus nerve is actually two nerves, both of which run from the brain stem and branch out separately, down the body, across the abdomen and to the main organs such as the heart and stomach. Disorders of the vagus nerve are oft...
