Strange tickling when contracting occipitalis but ONLY when hair had been wet a moment before (what?)
Dear scalp trainers, It's been a while! I've of course kept training my scalp (you can check my other thread to see the results). Now, there's been something about the SE that has gained my attention ever since the very beginning of the journey, but for some reason I had never thought I should/could...

Re: [UPDATE with pic] SE: 10 months after the start
Here I am! (Back from a few months of silence, I know...) It's been 10 months roughly since when I started with the SE. So... am I seeing some results? Well... yes, I think I am. There are no miracles happening, but what I've achieved so far seems promising, and worth keep going. Also, something I h...

Re: My hair health program (with regular updates)
AFAIK itching is actually not a good sign... I get a feeling of electricity after some SE but that's not itch. I guess NOT to get itch is a good sign.VegetaHairline wrote:You guys are lucky. I lose hair and don't even feel any itch.
At least you can use the itch to monitor the situation.

Re: [VIDEO] 'Alternative' SE: fr/occ symultaneous contractio
Thank you :) I'm going to post another picture of my forehead just like I did in August on my other posts, to track changes in my hairline. So far, though, I'm seeing the biggest results in terms of hair thickness (which is a great thing, I'd trade some hairline for some thickness, no doubt about it...

Re: Is really the occ/front muscles contraction *alternate*?
Dear all, here's a short video I made where I try do to this sort of "alternative" scalp exercise - that is, contracting the frontalis *before* releasing the tension at the occipitalis. Added benefits? We don't know. But one thing I'll say is that it feels pretty good, and I've added it in...

Re: Is really the occ/front muscles contraction *alternate*?
OhS: I read you've been doing the SE for 6 months. What about your hair health? Any improvements? Are you satisfied? I'd say yes, but let me answer with more detail, 'cause it's not that simple. First of all: 6 months is still a short period, from what I understand. That being said, my hair does lo...

Re: Is really the occ/front muscles contraction *alternate*?
NickSE wrote, "I see the best movement of my scalp happens when I do this alternate contraction." Thanks, NickSE. That's exactly it. ...and that's exactly what I've been doing for 6 months or so now. OhS, wrote, "You basically have your eyebrows going up with the occipitalis still co...

[VIDEO] 'Alternative' SE: fr/occ symultaneous contraction
Dear... scalpers, Some time ago I received Tom's material, and watching the CD I noted something curious. I asked him privately and he encouraged me to post a question here on the forum. I've always thought that the SE consisted of alternated contractions of occipitalis and frontalis, and I've been ...

Re: I think i'm doing progress
I actually think this is doing something. I don't feel burning like most balding people but i feel an amazing boost to circulation sometimes. Like my entire scalp is flowing with blood for a good 20-30 minutes and i can feel this blood flow even better in the most thinned out areas. I don't know ho...

Re: 14 MONTHS of SE, right before a haircut
One of the reasons I was so taken a back because I figured I'd be like him and wouldn't start losing hair until I was getting old in years anyway. I'm not sure I can properly parse the syntax of this sentence, but if you were taken aback, then it does mean that starting to lose hair after 50 is pre...
