Hair Loss Is Reversible
The pages that follow provide information about the causes and treatment of hair loss. There is also a discussion forum for general questions and comments. Start the journey by clicking the topics on the horizontal menu bar and its dropdowns too. I tried to fit a lot of information on this website but for more specific ideas and comments visit the Discussion Forum.
The reason for building this website
I know firsthand the pain often experienced by people with hair loss. I'd like to share some of the knowledge I've gained over the years about this problem and its possible solutions.
Some of the pages are technical; most are not. My suggestion is to read many of these pages so that you can gain a full understanding of the causes of the balding process. With this full understanding you'll be better able to make rational decisions about treatment options.
My name is Tom Hagerty. I wrote all the pages on this Web site with the purpose of giving honest, up-to-date information about male pattern baldness and female diffuse thinning. This photo was taken a few days before my birthday - don't ask which one. It's a big number though. But as you can see, my hair is still plentiful and naturally (no coloring) dark. The scalp exercises and a nutritious diet may have had something to do with this.
Enjoy the journey through these pages. There's a lot of material here, some of which you might want to include in your own hair health program. My suggestion is not to try to read it all at once though. Distributed learning - spreading it out a bit - is more effective than massed learning - going through it all at one sitting.
A Testimonial: Monday, February 13, 2017
I cannot thank you enough for sharing such a wonderful exercise. I have personally used a lot of hair loss products. I completely stopped using all these products when I came across your website. I liked what I read and everything looked sensible for me. I thought I would give it a shot. I have been performing the scalp exercise ever since then.
My suggestion to all people out there continue with the scalp exercise no matter what. It definitely works. If I did not do it, probably I would have been bald by now. I do it twice a day morning and night. Because a healthy scalp along with Tom's exercise can create wonders.
After doing scalp exercise for all these many years, my hair loss has stopped. I completely attribute this success to Tom and his scalp exercise.

People with hair loss (male and female pattern baldness) need all the clear, objective information they can get. I have broken down this information into many categories. Please browse through the pages that interest you. If you have specific questions or comments, post them on the Discussion Forum.
I wish I could tell people that once the hair is in good shape again they could quit my program of scalp exercises and of eating nutritious foods. This would ease the pain of long-term healthful living. The truth is, though, that my program is a lifetime pursuit - but once good hair is achieved, maintenance practice will not take up too much time.
I still have good hair and still do the scalp exercise often. It really is not a chore. In fact, doing a few wholesome things every day brings some structure into a person's life. It makes waking up in the morning meaningful.
