eb: What's the name of the shampoo? I'd like to try it. The ingredient list looks promising. |

I found the shampoo on this site: http://www.kalaya.dk/all.html The brand is kalaya but as you see it's a danish site. I will gladly translate it to english if you care. I searched the net and found these sites for you: http://www.emuology.co.nz/ http://www.kalayaemuestate.com/ In Denmark we have very strict rules for basically everything (except crime im afraid). For example Denmark is the only country in the world who have a policy that says emu's can't be fed food that contains growthhormones and such. I think that the danish shampoo is the best(my opinion - not a fact!) |

I wanted to delete the last sentence in the post above. But couldn't. I only think the danish product is better because i trust most things that are manufactured in Denmark. I sometimes can be very critical of products made outside Denmark because of regulations, policies, rules (or lack of) |

I just received my emu-shampoo bottle. BUT it does NOT contain what I wrote above!! it apparantly contains: (ingredient list on bottle) aqua Mipa-laureth sulfate and cocaomidopropyl-betaine emu-oil Alod barbendensis (aloe vera) Guar Hydroxypropyl Trimonium Chloride 2+Phenoxyethanol Mythylparaben Propylparaben It sucks and I am gonna write the company! However... does the ingredient list still sound "promising"? I would like to know if it is safe to use. And what is: Guar Hydroxypropyl? Trimonium Chloride? 2+Phenoxyethanol? Mythylparaben? Propylparaben? |

I don't like to use products which contain chemicals I cannot pronounce the names of. |

Go to the health food store and pick up a bar of emu oil soap for about two bucks, I use it on my head and face and it works great. My hair was never stronger. All natural too. |

The emu-soap probably contains SLS. Most bar soaps do? |
