After reading your article about green apples, I did some quick research on the net and came across this site: http://www.applepoly.com/procyanidin-b-2/ They mention a topical treatment and a pill. I'm not sure how much you've looked into the benefits of green apples, but from your knowledge of hair loss in general I want to ask you: do you think it's worth it to try either the topical treatment (personally, not a fan or something like that) or the pill? Or does it just make sense to go to the grocery store and get baby green apples? The reason I ask is, the treatments are somewhat expensive, but they claim it's a "concentrated" formula that works better. Looking forward to hearing your opinion on the matter, thank you. |

Mike Jones: I read through the information on the Applepoly website. All the research sounds very scientific and the resulting products promise positive results - with a photo as proof. "Order Now Risk Free!" Do you believe it? I prefer to make applesauce out of green apples and add some cinnamon rather than take the pills. I also prefer to drink real green tea rather than take green tea extract. All these extracts, pills, and capsules are classified as supplements, and as such the companies that sell them can make any claims they want without any regulations except for the ingredients list. The ingredients list has to be accurate, even though there is often some hedging here too. Eat the green apples and a good nutritious diet in general. This will serve you and your hair better than a ton of pills. |

Do you think 1 green apple a day is "enough"? |

Sorry, also, have you heard of any first hand accounts of green apples having a positive effect, ie, actually helping grow back hair? |
