I know you don't eat tuna Tom, even though you think its tasty, and I guess thats due to the mercury levels in this fish (i think i read a Dr Weiss(?) article on the subject that you recommended). The previous Dr. however did not mention anchovies. I LOVE anchovies (and unfortunately tuna too) - they are one of the few healthy things I like eating at the moment. Are they similar to shark and swordfish in their mercury levels? Just wondering what your thoughts are. Oh and by the way, thought this might be useful for you to know (in order to help others) - 'magical' olive oil should be used to clear blocked ear wax - it is 'prescribed' by Doctors in the UK over and above the techniques you refered to in a previous post (I think you were refering to water syringing - this can burst ear drums). Just whack it in, but make sure its not the stuff with herbs in it. I saw a couple of threads on wax and the SE, but noone provided a solution. I know olive oil is effective. Nick |

Nick: I don't know about the mercury in anchovies. Check it out yourself and let us know. Mercury is not just a general health hazard, it is a disaster for hair. It's too bad we can't eat fish without fear anymore. It's such a great and tasty food. |
