Is this as effective and safe as propecia?? ive been on propecia for about 8 months now and am very happy with results. But it is expensive! I have yet to ask my dermatologist about Finpecia; does anyone here know about it or use it?? Tom, your input??

I failed to mention the best part....it's half the price of propecia. Thats why I'm asking about it.

I've been using Fincar by Cipla. Fincar is 5mg finasteride whilst finpeacia is 1mg.

I've been taking 1/4 tablet a day for 6 months with great results.

Yes, it is cheap isn't it?

Don't worry, it's cool.

Jhon, I have a question for you, you said you had been on Propecia for 8 months, and you were very happy with the results right? But just how old are you? And after you started with the treatment, did you had any considerable hairloss shed withing those eight months?

Thanks for the response.

Hi,

I've been using for about 2 months. Not expecting anything yet but I've looked into the company and they seem pretty reputable. Their website has lots of info and I also found an intersting article about them on the bbc website.
The big pharma co's are bascially putting profit ahead of anything else, thats why we pay throught the nose for everything.

I'll be back with an update on how things are progressing. I'd rather try this out for a fraction of the price than spend a year paying top dollar for something that may not work for me.
