I just started to use Neutrogena T Gel (Menthol) for seborrheic dermatitis and dandruff. The directions says to use a generous amount and leave it on for several minutes. I usually use a good amount and leave it on for five minutes. Is this too much? When I wash, dry and combe my hair the next day (the previous night I used T-Gel)a lot of hair sheds. Does this mean it is damaging my hair or is this normal with someone who once had light to moderate amount of seborrheic dermatitis and dandruff on the scalp in the mid and hairline area where the hair is falling. (The condition for the most part is gone but easily comes back so I am using T-Gel to control it) Any help would be much appreciated. Thank You. |

John: If you suspect that your shampoo might be aggravating your shedding, why not try mentholated Denorex Extra Strength Shampoo with salicylic acid? It does a good job as an anti-inflammory scalp and helps to control shedding. |
