Hi,
Just curious if anyone here (like me) is experiencing hair loss with very very little to NO baldness in their family? Thanks

LOL, dude, I'm 23 with 2 bald/ing people through my family (uncles, cousins, granparents, lots and lots of people). My dad at 44 has better hair than me. My mothers side has no baldness at all. I feel your pain man.

It especially sucks when you have no family history. At family events and get togethers, they make you feel like some outsider. Then they say stuff like whats happening with your hair? Like "I dont know, when God was handing out full heads of hair, I kept getting cut in line. This was all they had left."

WTF, peoples comments are so idiotic. Like I don't know I'm losing my hair.

When God said, "The hairs on your head are counted," he wasn't joking!

Yeah, I have the same. The only balding in my family (parents/grandparents) is receding temples. Meanwhile, my hair is thinning all over on top. It makes you think that it's due to something else like diet or stress, or that you were adopted or something.

The way I've dealt with it is doing the SE everyday (I believe it works), cutting your hair short so it doesn't look as obvious, and working on your life/career goals so that you can get to the point where you don't rely on your physical appearance as much for your identity. Difficult idea to grasp, I know - but I'm getting there. Everyday I care less and less about what my hair looks like, and focus more on what's important in life.

My father was as bald as Patrick Stewart at 18. In my late 20's I was like oh god I was lucky I got skipped. Spoke too soon at 33 I have a rapidly receding hairline.
