Thanks Keels: The article describes the experiment that proves that human therapeutic cloning is possible, although - "It is not practical at this point." Scientists now believe because of the experiments in South Korea that "grow-your-own organ transplants" will be possible in the near future. (Hair follicles are mini-organs.) The types of research now being carried on in South Korea are not banned in the United States. What is banned is federal funding for such research. Federal funding is often the incentive for scientific breakthroughs. |

Instead of out government trying to search for cures and fund such programs, they insist on fighting a worthless war on terrorism. Iraq was the biggest mistake. The billions we spent in that shithole country we could have come up with many new breakthroughs in medicine. Rather than take lives, we should learn new ways to preserve them through science. I really hate what this country has become. |

I'm sure above comment is going to generate a lot of heat - and personal attack. I'll probably have to delete the whole thread because personal attack doesn't add much enlightenment to the problem of hair loss and hair regrowth. I agree with Anonymous though - "Rather than take lives, we should learn new ways to preserve them through science." |
