Well 2 weeks ago, I stopped washing my hair. I have only been rinsing everyday or so and also putting jojoba oil in it to kill bacteria. My hair is about 1/8-1/4 of an inch long, so my not washing it is unnoticeable. By the way I have been doing the SE for a little more than a year.
So in the last 2 weeks I have noticed one major change: the light to medium dandruff that I get when I wash my hair is 100% gone. I used to get dry flaky skin around my crown, but not anymore. My scalp also itches much less.
But to "results"... It's still too early to tell, but I think my hair is falling out less rapidly. This is tough to gauge because of the length of my hair, when I ran my hands over my head 2 weeks ago and looked at my hands, there were more hairs in them than there are today. If any of you remember, Brick Top used the same solution in January and he hasn't been back since. It just might be the cure. I'll update you guys if anything changes.

Kamisama:

I've said this before on the discussion forum - People who get their hair back stay away from the losers who still have hair loss problems. They usually do not come back to the forums. I remember when I got my hair back I didn't even want to associate with people with hair loss problems.

One man who lives in Greece who called himself Anagen posted some credible before-and-after photos several years ago. I wish more people would do this. I also wish that people who have no success with the scalp exercise program would post messages about their lack of progress.

Here's a man who claims he had great hope when he started doing the scalp exercise. He now blames me for his total lack of hair. I think he might be a dangerous person.

One tough dude

Mr. Hagerty, you are in big trouble. That tough dude is Kojac. If he is angry with you, you better go into hiding. But even then he will find you.

Tom's right, I guess when a person has been given a second chance and can get hair back, you want to escape your unfortunate past, and hanging around hair loss forums isn't going to help you forget. Just let everyone know how you got on. I wonder if the scalp exercises will still be known to the public in 30 years time.

That guy looks pretty angry. I have a friend who has oncoming MPB but is in denial, I told him about me trying these exercises out but he didn't take it too well when I suggested that he should have a look. I dint even mention baldness, just told him to have a look at them because they are interesting. One shouldn't really be embarrassed about having to do the scalp exercises, if you succeed then its an achievement. All the same, if they work out for me, i'm not going to go around telling everyone I was suffering the approach of baldness. If someone happens to be very perceptive however and asks about my hair then I will tell them, better that than them thinking I went off and got a transplant or something.

I started experiencing the inflamed scalp situation at 15 or 16, and it came at a very bad time in my life. I just hope to put this whole sorry thing behind me. The exercises are pretty much my only hope.

Hey Tom, what did Anagen's pictures look like?
Did he have the MPB crown and receding hair line? Or one or the other?

Thanks... was there any others asides Anagen who posted pics in the past?

Craigy:

I looked for Anagen's photos but there is just too much stuff listed under Anagen in the contact page. I can't remember what the "before" photos looked like but the "after" photos looked great. In other words, I can't remember if the hair loss was in the crown or in the temple area.

Other people have posted posted photos too. These before-and-after photos were not as clear and convincing as anagen's though.

Hi Tom, it has been a while since i posted.

I do not really agree with your conclusion tt those who managed to recover from hairloss will stay away from yr website, becos the emotional impact of hairloss is just too great.

I had been doing the scalp excercise since mid 2007... it is coming up to abt 2 years. to be honest, even after 2 years i cant say for sure that the scalp excercise is effective... it is just too difficult to judge... My hair loss continues to be quite a lot(abt 150 strands a day at least), eventhough i am not sure whether hair density had became worse in the last 2 years, but i must say that the scalp excercise do make my scalp less itchy....

I am also taking propecia at the same time, much earlier than before i begin the scalp excercise, i felt that propecia had not worked, my scalp and hair began less itchy and probably dropped less after i begin the scalp excercise. I am still using propecia due to it proclaim miracle - it seems to be the most effective treatment so far based on statistic...

My take is that pple had not return becos they themselves are not sure whether the scalp excercise had work.... this is not necessary a bad thing, the scalp excercise probably cant regrow the dying or dead hair follicle, but it probably can extend the life of the healthy ones... the added benefits of not having to constantly scatch an itchy head is another benefits

jack:

Thanks for your ideas about the scalp exercise and hair loss in general.

"the scalp excercise probably cant regrow the dying or dead hair follicle, but it probably can extend the life of the healthy ones."

The scalp exercise or any other form of treatment cannot bring dead hair follicles back to life. Once a hair follicle is dead there is no resurrection.

Can the scalp exercise grow new hair?

Mickey H:

If a person has been bald for a long time - ten years or more - the hair follicles may be dead. Dead hair follicles cannot be brought back to life even if you did the scalp exercise from morning to night.

If a person's hair follicles are miniaturized, however, there is a chance that the scalp exercise plus a nutritious diet can reverse the miniaturization process. There is a greater chance though that the program will stabilize hair loss. This is also a good thing.

Mickey H:

Stem cell research is now producing hopeful signs that new hair follicles can be generated. This technology is not available to the public yet. Perhaps in five years it will be available but the price will at first be steep.

Other than this future medical breakthrough, when a hair follicle dies, it is dead permanently.
