I am a 27 year old male from Kansas. A few months back i was involved in a situation, which I dont with to get into detail about, but I ended up getting hit with a tazer gun and shocked several times. Prior to the incident, I had shown some beginning signs of mpb. I was shedding a significant amount of hair. Now, approx. 4 months after I was shocked, I dont notice any shedding, well hardly any.

Is there any relation between the shock I recieved and the halt in hairloss? This is very interesting to me and I am interested to hear if anyone has any input on what has taken place in my situation. Any input is welcome.

Eureka Robert C. has found the answer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All of us who are balding just arent getting shocked enough. Im gonna staighten out one of those abortion coat hangers, spit on it, and jam it into the nearest wall socket and I'll have a headfull of hair (standing straigh up like Einstien)

robert c...About ten years ago a bald man somewhere in the US who was struck by ligthening began to regow his hair according to his doctor. This made big news at the time but I have no idea if he sustained that growth because I never heard a follow up report.

My point being that shock might have an effect on the hair follicles based on that report, if it is a valid one of course. I doubt anyone has undergone voluntarily ungone shock therapy to try to sprout hair, so who's to know for sure?
