I cannot swallow the tablet. Can I crush it and take it? Anybody reccommend anything? |

Hi Graeme, How's it going? You on or off the fin now?
What about minox? I'm thinking of starting minox once a day, I'm getting impatient for more radical results - back in May I promised myself a full head of hair for Christmas! |

Hi pka i am on the 1mg fin every second day now and i still use the minox 2 times a day and on every second day i take saw palmetto but who knows if thats does anything but my hair at this time still looks the the same and there is no fallout so far.My sexdrive is not that much better but i am in no rush 2 stop it fin just yet.All i can say is when i went off it for 35 days i new it was not in my head so i just have to find a balance for the future.
The Minox is great give it a go i found it the best for growth all the fin does is keeps it.

Graeme - I'm taking fin every other day myself too.
How long did the regrowth from monix take to kick in for you?

pka with me it only took around six weeks and i could see in the front hairline that it was working for me, it's like watering the grass lol the more you water the more it grows.what your hair looks like in 12 months is what it will be if you keep it up thats what i have seen anyway you never get 100% cover.But give it a go i thinks it's the way to go but it's a pain in the ass like everything.ps Women put makeup on everyday i think we have it easy lol. |

you're right man, women do spend an hour each day putting on makeup. Using hairloss drugs becomes a part of your daily routine. compared to putting on makeup, we have it east. |

I think I'll try it. Once a day.
I'm still suckered by the dream of 100% cover...
Currently I'm happy though, 4 1/2 months in on fin and knowing at 37 that I've got more hair every week is a good feeling. At least I've got a chance of meeting my friends with full heads of hair halfway as MPB eventually catches up with them! |

I've read that if you crush the tablet, you are exposing the drug (it is originally covered by a microfilm layer) and that can be harmful because it is absorbed by the skin. True? |

I suggest that your crush the company that produces Propecia, because this pill does more harm than good in the long run!

Now why would you only take Saw Palmetto every second day?
People seem to grade herbs on a slant. People will also take Saw Palmetto for 2-3 months, not see anything, and discontinue. Meanwhile, people take Finasteride for up to a year wating on results. |
