Here is something you people should take a look on

http://www.honestfoodguide.org/downloads/HonestFoodGuide.pdf

I have changed the original cow milk I used too drink to the soy milk the brand name alpro http://www.alpro.com/images/idal202.jpg

But what about the diary the chess? What can you eat instead of it? What can replace it?

And I was thinking of buying some fish oils omega-3 pills too add that do my diet...anyone who can recommend a good brand because they are like too many out there...

There is also omega-6 does that do you any good? Is it really needed?

Any thoughts on this, anyone?

How’s you’re diet today?

I would definitely stick with the ***Carlson brand Gabe. It is free of toxic metals such as mercury, cadmium, lead, PCB's and 28 other contaminants. I take their Cod Liver Oil in the winter months and in the Spring/Summer months I take the Omega-3 Fish Oil. I buy the liquid kind, and not the capsules. (***Only take a teaspoonful of the Cod Liver Oil***)because it does contain Vitamins A and D which are both fat-soluble. If you want Omega 3,6, and 9 balanced, I would buy the ***Udo's Choice brand.

Gabe- Thanks for the link to the pyramid. I downloaded it to my Desktop. I'm going to read it thoroughly after awhile. I think switching from cow's milk to Alpro (soy milk) is a good idea. But, if it contains Carageenan I would stay away from it (just my opinion). It's sort of like my opinion about aspartame, although they're completely different. Good luck and keep this forum informed/ up-to-date! I like the Health part about this forum the best! I'm glad Tom put this on here. Good luck bud!

Eric,

I will have a look at what brands there is over here… is the liquid versions better then the capsules? What’ the difference?

And what is cold liver oil?

About the Carageenan thing, it doesn’t say anyplace on the box that it contains it? But could it be that stuff like that is not included in the ingredients list?

Eating avocados for hairloss?

Yes, I know it may seem weird, but I have been eating one avocado a day for the past three days now, and my hair looks and feels a lot thicker. And the only thing I've been doing differently is eating avocados, one a day.

Gabe, cod liver oil has the vitamins A and D naturally found in it. I would stick with Cod Liver Oil in the wintertime (less sun and less Vitamin D) and stick with Fish oil in the summer). Yes, liquid is better.

"About the Carageenan thing, it doesn’t say anyplace on the box that it contains it? But could it be that stuff like that is not included in the ingredients list?"------> I would stick with Horizon Organic milk, 1-2 cups a day. Soymilk, Rice Dream, etc. I wouldn't touch.

Eric, as far as I've read, avocados are great for circulation. That could have something to do with it.

Eric, if eating avocados improved your hair condition in 3 days, it's most probably a placebo effect. No food can be assimilated and utilised to produce new tissue that fast. I'm not against avocados btw, they're a good source of monounsaturated fat and minerals.
