David G: Yes, that's the way the scalp moves when you are doing the exercise correctly. Of course you will have to generate that movement by the alternating contraction of the frontalis and occipitalis muscles. Just moving the scalp using your hands will not bring major benefits, although it might be helpful in gaining control of the occipitalis muscles. |

David G: Read through My Approach a few more times. You obviously don't understand how the scalp exercise is done because of a language problem. You wrote, "you said we should pull back ears before do scalp exercise." Of course I never said that. Are you trying to pull back your ears with your fingers? This is not how you do the SE correctly. First contract the frontalis muscles, then contract the occipitalis muscles. These muscles are antagonistic: when one contracts, the other relaxes automatically. You do not have to consciously try to relax them. |

Hi Tom: I've read the Approach Step one: "Step number one in the learning process: Stand in front of the mirror and raise your eyebrows (contract the frontalis muscles). Next, try to pull back your ears (contract the occipitalis muscles) as you relax your forehead. There will be only a small, almost imperceptible, movement at first when you are trying to pull back your ears. The contraction of the muscles at the front of the head will be easy. These muscles are fully voluntary." Do you mean just pull back ears by raising eyebrows ? no need use hand to pull the ears back ? Also do you mean to tone up the muscle on front head just by raising eyebrows and no need by using hand ? I'm sorry for interrupt you, Can you explain the Step one more clearly to me ,thanks a lot. |

David G: I'm a nice guy and all that, but I just don't have the time to give personal instruction to everyone who asks for it. White Bulb is right - this would take too much explaining. |

Alternately raise your eyebrows and pull your ears back. This should cause your scalp to "rock" back and forth. You don't use your hands to perform the exercise. |

I think you should get a credit card and order the video. I don't see any other way for you to learn. It's a language barrier. |
